The Gardens at Mid Valley City - Local And International Designer Brand Shopping
Before The Gardens, I used to spend a good 4 to 5 hours at Mid Valley Megamall, but these days it is hardly enough! Did I get a huge pay increase? Nope! This is because the wonderful people of IGB Corporation Berhad decided to develop a completely new phase to this much visited shopping escapade.
The façade of entire development of this new addition include two 31-storey office towers, 27-storey Gardens Hotel, 30-storey The Gardens Residences service apartment and of course, the five-storey shopping gallery.
This high end shopping haven officially opened its doors on September 26, 2007. The Gardens Shopping Gallery consist of five-storeys housing over 200 specialty stores in an environment that is architecturally relaxing, hospitable, refined, and just makes you feel like you are in a enchanted shopping mall filled with the latest fashion, widest range of every possible brands you can think of.
The design of the Atrium architectural are meaningful patterns of local floral such as Malaysia's national flower the hibiscus and bamboo while other are of traditional Malay handicraft. The Facade on the other hand are inspired by the waving sails of the majestic Chinese vessels as well as domed spaces of unique Raintree and Bamboo Court.
The Gardens Mid Valley Values are Beliefs are Rewarding, Escapist, Seamless and Nurturing while its philosophy of "valued guest" fits perfectly with the positioning of "Inspire, Reward, Relax" as its customer-focused strategy to ensure that every guests will make every one of their visit a rewarding and seamless experience.

Others tenants include Cold Storage,Golden Screen Cinema (higher end version boutique cinema at a slightly higher price of course!), Coach, Gap, Promod, Banana Republic, William Ooi, Key Ng, Roof Garden Restaurant, Borders, art galleries and even arts theatre. Who says you have to be rich and famous in order to experience such glory all under one roof!
Lower Ground houses the Cold Storage supermarket as well as some interesting eateries. Levels 1 and 2 are basically housing Fashion, Home and Living retailers. Level 3 for Sports, Leisure and Dining. Level 4 and 5 for Wellness, Art & Theatre.
For those who are afraid of sweating and heat, don't worry as Mid Valley Megamall and the Gardens are connected at both the Lower Ground Level and a Skybridge on Level 1 (Little Penang at Mid Valley and Cova at The Gardens).
